  1. Chantal Akerman was born in Brussels on June 6, 1950. She was a very talented artist, director and film writer who from an early age became interested in the audiovisual world and started making her own films. At 18 years old, Akerman had finished his first movie: "Saute ma ville". Akerman was daughter of Auschwitz survivors, and her family's experiences influenced her work, especially the relationship she had with her mother. Her films used themes such as the feminine role and the social perspective of women, sexuality, isolation and exclusion policies. Chantal Akerman has been an inspiring woman to me, for her talent, courage to leave her country following her dreams and her empathy to listen to people and portray their lives in a unique way in her films.

  3. Tomas S. Monson, was a church leader who greatly inspired my life, he was the president of the church that I attend. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, yes, it is a somewhat extensive name, but what is important is the prophet era, that is, the representative of God on earth. He was a very humble and helpful person, he forgot himself for helping others and did so until the last day of his life. But what inspired me the most was his ability to love.
He was so things in his live, but the most important for me, was his life as a priest

  4. Pancha Nuñez or Francisca Nuñez Vasquez, is a Chilean artist born in Colina in 1961. I have been inspired by her artistic work and above all by her biography, like her without knowing anything and coming from poverty, showing up at her entrance exam only with what she had in the house, like craft paper and tempera (in comparison to her classmates who had sheets of paper and different types of paintings), and how today she recognizes herself as an artist, maintaining her peculiarity.
What inspires me most is that she teaches me that no matter what the circumstance, or that you don't have the same knowledge as your classmates, with decision and dedication to what you want, you can be better than someone who had a better education.

I have been lucky enough to be able to share her art since I was a child, and now also her teaching. Without a doubt, I hope one day to have the strength and capacity that she has as an artist.
