he listens verycarefully, he started to wondering what in the hell could be this knock at the door, will it be more humans like him? No, he already know he is the last man on earth but... what could it be? he started to walk slowly to the door, the sounds of his steps made a crunchy sound because he broke a wood stick, automatically he looked down to see what was that and while he was recovering his head to the door.... sudenly... the door has opened and a little tiny dog appears in front of his eyes. he lokeed at it and after a while he hugged it and started to cry. The man was not any longer alone.
The man approached the door without understanding what that noise had been. Could it be that he wasn't really alone? Or maybe it was just the wind? If there was someone else, it would be strange since, he had made up his mind to die alone. All his plans would be ruined. But somehow he wanted everything to be ruined again.
Among all his thoughts, it took him hours to decide whether to open it or not. By the time he took the courage to open the door, a great current of air opened it, revealing an empty space that he himself had left behind.
The man got up went to the door, opened it and a long corridor formed in front of his eyes. Far away there was a door with shining edges, the man walked along the corridor, distrustful but hoping to end his loneliness. Halfway through the walk, the man looked back, and saw that the door he had entered was no longer there, so he continued on his way. The door opened by itself and a flash paralyzed the man. A man appeared, asking a woman dressed in white, and said: doctor, which was the today's state of the Lobotomized patient.
He heard the door, and he ran to the corner of the room, where he had all his belongings. Searching through his things and very afraid he turned on his flashlight to see what was going on.
He walked to the door and heard a knock again. Determined, he opened the door: As he opened it he came upon a technological device which was operated by humans, -before their complete extinction on earth. Disillusioned, he closed the door again with the device inside, and questioned himself:
-Is someone operating it, or is it just a vestige of what we once were as humans?
“The last man on earth sat alone in a room. there was a knock on the door.” but fortunately the man can't ear because he was deaf. He was afraid because the room hadn’t any lights and he started to feel strange. He started to feel like if someone was touching him but he was alone in the room. Then suddenly the lights turn on and came into the room some aliens, they look just like a human but the difference was that they have blue skin. He realized that he wasn't the last man on earth but he was on other planet. When the aliens approached to him they turn on a tv and start to play a video. In the video they shown me my entire life and I realize that I came to this planet for my own but now I have Alzheimer's and because of that I wake up every day in a horror movie. Then I realize that it's always my mind trying to cheat me.
It started when in year 3020, people all around the world was extinguished due to a pandemic caused by a virus present in the animals of zoo. The scientists never found an effective vaccine for treatment, and all people except one, died in short time. This person called John, for a strange reason, never got sick with the virus. Unfortunately, all his family died. Once the pandemic began, he bought different elements of personal protection such as mask and disposable clothes. Because of this, he could walk in the street and get some food in abandoned supermarkets. One day sat alone in a room, when somebody knocked the door. Who is it? Is it really the last man on Earth?
The man had already heard the knock on the door several times before, but every time he opened it, there were two options: enter the same room with the same door or open the door and find nothing, just a huge void as if it were floating in the universe. Years passed and tired of the same thing, he realized that no other path would appear through that door, he abandoned fear and when he felt that last knock on the door he decided to throw himself into the void, into the unknown, to what could be another life or the death. Thus ends the story with an ending open to reflection on fear of changes in our lives.
Across the time, exist one only man, who always knew the tragic human destiny in the earth. Really, this "man" was a women. Well, is a long drama. She was called Clío and live since aprox. 4500 years, enough to know about the earth history and travel in the time across of the memories. During the time, she saw the human hehavior and she couldn't believe that the women were losing her power, rights and too her names. Clío, started to wear costumes for change the situation. One year was a Simone Beauvoir, other was a Emmeline Pankhurst. One day, in a public discussion a people's group provocated a bad situation for Clío, They was saying: Clío is a woman, her opinion not is important. For this reason, Clío took a decision and this was be writting forever in her room, and for at nights distribute in the anonymus her ideas and dreams to the children. But the things don't improve, around of year 3000, was left alone, in your room, she have a hope "someone could be alive, then of the pandemic" , surprisingly someone took her door.

I'm just a man, the only one on earth who survived the coronavirus, it must only be the wind, or my imagination, or I'm already going crazy. But... But if not, if there is someone else out there? So, the man got up from his chair, approached the door, opened it. There was nobody, just a note in the floor. This note said: "It´s me "

He continued walking without course, only with the company of his shadow. When arrived to the lonely town, was gone to the bar, there he took the last bottle of whisky and drank all the liquid. When the day turned into night, was still lost in his laments, entered a room and sat in the middle. "The last man on Earth sat alone in a room. There was a knock on the door".
He was so tired that he didn’t think he could step up and open the door… what was the point? Everyone he had ever loved were dead, there was no sense anymore in his life, his days were counted and he felt so miserable.
Maybe if he had known what was going to happen he were able to do something, save someone… but he didn’t realice how bad was when it started.
He wished to be dead like his family and friends, but somehow he was too coward to take his own life.

After a few seconds you hear him say "Who are you?", "How come you're here?". She answers him with a very sweet voice "I have to be here, just like you". It was then that the last people in the world met in that dreary room to try and prevent the extinction of human beings.
He got up very scared and went to the door, but there was nobody. And he said: is there anyone there? But there was only silence. He sat down again. then they knocked on the door again. This time stronger. But he didn't want to open the door. He thought he was crazy. But then someone broke the door and entered the room. He was himself but from the future. He said: Run with me now. He grabbed him by the hand and they ran very fast. And suddenly a large group of zombies appeared. Humans who were infected with the coronavirus mutation.
The Last man on earth was walking into the woods, looking for some food, some fruit or a dead squirrel... he was completely alone... was he? Lurking around the woods, there were these... Things. he was being extremly careful not to catch their attention. so he needed to hide in every shrub, sneaking in the deadliest silence... Otherwise those Things would catch him...that would be the end of the human race... a noise behind him alerted him, his heart pumping hard and he stopped breathing, all his fears will become true... it was only a rat... more calm he returned to his cabin The Last man on Earth sat alone in a room.. there was a knock on the door... those things found him?...
After hearing that knock on the door, the man felt relieved. He knew he was the last man, but he was not sure there were the last woman on Earth, so the world could be saved from extinction. Humans did not do a good work with the pollution, but they could fix the environment and help the earth to get better.
